There’s two sides to Bath’s story. Famously it’s a city known for its history: hot springs, Roman heritage, Georgian architecture and Jane Austen. But that’s only half of it. Bubbling under the surface there’s another world at work; a culture of creativity and craftsmanship, of movers and makers. And we’re here to reveal them.
As a design studio based in Bath for over 25 years, we know that there’s more to the city than meets the eye. Wanting to understand more about creativity and craftsmanship, we collaborated with Opal Print to make Made in Bath – a book about makers in Bath.
This side project grew into talks, an exhibition, podcasts and sharing more maker stories on this website. We do it because we are curious and want to learn more. And we enjoy it. We hope you enjoy it too.
